A Yearning Verse
A Yearning Verse
In fleeting time, a bond did bloom,
A connection swift, dispelling gloom.
Yet shadows cast, a change unseen,
Leaving echoes of what had been.
A heart now yearns, in quiet despair,
Longing for words once freely shared.
Questions linger, the reasons unclear,
Is distance real or just a mere veneer?
In sickness' grip, the mind does spin,
A plea for solace, a yearning within.
The one now missed, a puzzle untold,
A tale of emotions, both young and old.
Desperation whispers in the silent air,
Yet hope persists, beyond the wear.
For friendships tested, like seasons turn,
In time, may mend, and brightly burn.
So let the verses echo this plea,
Rekindle the bond, set worry free.
For in the ebb and flow of life's array,
Companionship's warmth shall find its way.
