Serendipity
Serendipity

When the ocean of sorrow
flows through my window
and I feel your absence
like a grey-bellied cloud,
I remind myself
what a miracle it was
that we ever found
each other at all.
In your company,
any cloud
would give its darkness
to twinkle
so I should be thankful
that I met you at all
in this life
with such slim odds
of drifting into your tide.
Isn’t it beautiful
that in a sea of people
our waves found a way
to intermingle?
Isn’t it a miracle
that I heard your smile
like stardust sprinkled
on the shoreline?
Isn't it amazing
The stars aligned
And for one tiny delicate stitch in the fabric of time,
I was blessed enough to call you mine!!!!
