treasure hunts galore 

that children seek out,

celebrating with family,

reading and writing poetry,

during these special days.

It’s time 

to celebrate 

the beauty 

that words create.

Eager to revive 

the beauty 

of words and art, 

that speaks 

to the depths 

of our hearts.

From sonnets to haikus, 

from Shakespeare to Maya Angelou, 

Poetry has touched 

many a soul anew. 

It’s a form of expression 

like no other, 

that captures our emotions 

and makes them discover 

the essence of life 

and its beauty, 

in the way, 

only poetry 

can do so truly.

Poetry takes us on 

a journey divine 

with each verse 

and every line

to new heights 

that fills our hearts 

with utter delight.

It inspires, 

uplifts and heals, 

and helps us see

with zeal.

It’s a way to express
