I'm afraid of loving

So I turn away and close my heart

To the promise of love that you give

Coz the last time I fell in love 

I got myself hurt

Please don't push me

To opening my heart to you

Stop pursuing it

Coz I'm afraid of re curing the pain

I'm scared to bait my heart once more

Please don't hold it against me for not loving you back

It's just that;

My past has taught me

To never do the things

That will end me up in tears

But I can't love you back as much

I'm too scared
