Dead or Alive

One night I lay at rest,

Staring at my ceiling,

That was the time I heard sirens wailing.

My room covered in caution tape,

My body laying infront of my eyes

Yes, I was dead but alive.

I could see my parents crying,

But couldn't wipe the tears off of their face.

Was I murdered?

Who was it?

Questions crammed my brain

And that is honestly worse than getting hit by a train.

Roaming the land,

Having no friends.

Thinking about how did my life end,

And at the same time is still going on.

Seeing and hearing other people was one sided now.

I was all by myself.

I went to a bakery and stole some bread,

Surprisingly the workers did not get scared.

My presence could only be felt,

But my people pleasing self couldn't afford to disturb people.

Having nowhere to go,

No one to talk to,

It felt lonely

But sadly there was no way out of it.

I was a ghost now,

Having a new life 

It was time for a change,

It did feel strange at first,

But killing people was sort of fun
