Abstract Others

Alleys of pain

Alleys of pain

Walking through the alleys of pain,

I could hear puple's screams.

My woeful self was petrified at

the melancholy of the helpless wanderers.

People were silent,

But I could hear their anguish.

I saw pieces of shattered hearts,

And some of the broken trust.

A person with a disease,

And some helpless refugees.

I heard the weeps,

I heard the screams,

The agony of the puple ensnared my heart.

The alleys of pain,

With tears as rain,

More tenebrous than one can think.

Flickering lights,

And the gloomy ambiance,

Enough to torment a bliss weaver.

One looking for someone to rely on,

Another for some peace of mind.

It is an everyday thing in the alleys of pain.

I walked for several hours,

The alley never came to an end.

It was an abyss of pain.

Some with a void heart,

The others with a heavy one,

The agony is endless.

I too, once wandered in those alleys for

several days trying to find a way out.

Neither does a train go there,

Nor does a plane.

Neither do I know how I got there,

Nor do I know how I exited it.

But when I left those alleys,

I never wished to turn back.
