Cigarettes, cigarettes, It’s become a fashion these days,

But one does not know where hidden trouble lays.

Three each day, and sometimes four,

Nowadays, it’s become a household chore.

He keeps on smoking every day,

His organs start to shrivel and decay.

He smokes and smokes till his death,

For he does not know that health is wealth.

He smokes till he is a decaying husk,

He smokes, from dawn to dusk.

He turns into a skeleton,

By now he was done.

He slowly faded, till his head was a skull,

He had died sad and dull.

Only if he had realized that smoking could kill you,

It wouldn’t be cigarettes that he would chew.

If only he knew how smoking would affect him,

His life wouldn’t have been so dull and dim.

Now you can understand by the words I have conjured,
