Colours And Me
Colours And Me

Long before
The ink and paper,
Colours were the soul friend of mine.
I ornamented the paper
And they too did the same,
By glossy certificates
With which my happiness
Also used to shine.
I don't know
Why we got apart
We were so close
But we got far.
The bond so close
Got confined to formalities,
I feel too sorry
I forgot its beauty
So ravishing.
But they never ignored me
Whenever my hands touched them
I didn't adore
But they never made me
Feel the same.
How could I be so selfish?
I pondered and pondered
Thank God
I was made to remember
I promised them again
I would hold them tight forever.
