Drunken Emotions

She felt helpless

Unable to express herself

Her emotions

And she thought of being drunk

To let her emotions

Flow out easily

And yet again

She got drowned in thoughts

What would she tell her parents

After being drunk?

She then decided

To tell her parents

That the decisions they make

Thinking to be good for her, 

It actually hurts a lot.

That when they neglect her dreams

It breaks her from within.

That when they force to be someone else

Apart from her own self

It was, is and will never be accepted by her.

That when they give more priority to marry her off

Rather than motivating her

To study more and more

It scares her.

That when they feel unlucky to have her as a daughter,

It provokes her to embrace death.

That she feels so unlucky to have them as parents and wondered why they just didn't kill her when she hasn't seen the world.

That she feels the darkness inside the womb was better than the brightness of the outside world.
