Rustic Stars & Urban Sky
Rustic Stars & Urban Sky
Walking down the lane
I yearned to feel
The serenity of the night
Leaving the noise behind
Faraway somewhere
And I went on to feel
The presence of risen rustic stars in the urban sky,
But alas!
I failed to reach out to them
Nowhere to be seen they were
And I found them
Hidden beneath a layer
Made by man's unending needs.
Even the moon was alone
Like me,
And how strange it was
Needs were hidden behind needs,
Peace got suppressed by
The noise of advancement and development,
Universal beauty was fading
And materialistic beauty was glowing.
Yet hope still has its place in my heart
Tranquility will make its way
To the moon over the sky
To me
To the world.
