Absolute Peace...

Awakened by a bizarre dream!

Loads my heart with regret,

I rush to work on,

Uncovering instruments...

Dusted to rehearse, 

A voice subdued,

"Not now...It disturbs sleep".

Convinced my spirit,

To engross in,

Real-world skills,

Acting futuristic...

Mind elopes with,

the scene in and around...

Instigating me to open up,

I pen down to fix!

"Mom! Be available...

Tasks so many! "

Kept aside my work,

Adhoc, incomplete...

Nurturing buds to flourish,

Our priority...

Now, weary me,

Churning emotions and practice...

Still a pile of To-do,

Eat...cook and feed...

Oops, some stuff I need...

Moving out of your home, Mom'

Scold and wipe, Side by side...

Absolute peace!!!

A blow of wind shakes me,

Rain downpours to ease,

Reverting me to consciousness...

Slowing down steps,

My heart whispers...
