Those Big Eyes...
Those Big Eyes...

Those big eyes,
Had a thousand dreams to go,
A heart, some billion times,
To beat thereafter...
Blank pages to be scripted,
Lie unfinished,
With moments she longed to,
Treasure and life...
Thoughts, she brooded over,
Exit in disappoint,
A face with poise and wisdom,
Stay still in the frame...
Magic in her voice,
Inspiring to go miles...
Serenity in her care,
Healed up things...
Maturity grooming her,
Instigating to abide by,
A child in her at times,
Inconsolably cried...
Those big eyes,
Fell asleep midway,
As always half close,
Eternal rest!
That dreadful span of dark,
Signed grueling war,
Untieing soul and body,
Set her free from pleasure & pain...
Those big eyes,
Unblinking, since years,
Deprive of watching,
Her child grow,
Rest in someone's arm,
She belonged...
Amid the stars, in relief, she sighs,
Generosity in her prayer,
Time settles...
Hopeless her wishes yet,
Unable to ease,
Teary those old faces,
Couldn't revive a smile !
