In memory lane,
Flashback of a decade and a half,
A thrilling hour of fun,
An adventure in dark!
Ghost walk???
Surprises chase me often!
“They won’t touch”
Man in the counter assures!
I hesitate though,
Dragged by the flow!
Hallucinations, all I conceive
Human after all!
Dual states of mind!
Spooky I step into
‘Ghost premises’
Jumping huddles of the fear factor,
In the backend of mind runs,
Series from ghost episodes.
Apparently anticipated,
sort of demonstration!
I tend to withdraw my sense organs,
Out of facts exhibit!
A black cat crisscross,
As though indicating risk!
Caught sight of a white lady,
Drifting across the gloomy hallway
Her tresses hid face haphazardly,
Eyes horribly glared my steps,
I avert eye contact!
Few live-less bodies lay down flat,
Wake up abruptly, weep n laugh!
An eagle flapping wings sets its eyes fixed,
To extract, all that it sees!
A phantom in burning eyes scream,
for whatsoever reason!
Witches in their notorious acts invoke negativity!
My heart started pounding!
When would wind up this journey?
A tunnel with foggy smoke approached,
Could there be, a shy of relief henceforth!
Alas! wherefrom a vampire drops in?
Rushing towards,
Its clutches overshadow me!
I skipped my lane in utter havoc,
To not encounter with, vicious that monster
Dear me! An error in judgment,
And I step into its lane,
Eventually hitting him up badly midway!
“Not me, you did that”! Vampire mumbles!
Refreshing my consciousness,
“Merely an actor!”
In hand gestures, he was justifying himself,
Rest assured, his loyalty to not touch retains!
I revert back,
“No, not you!
My track was blurry n blocked “
He disappeared remarking,
“You altered your direction !”
Our paths intersect off times,
Through roller coasters of life,
Characters act and fleet,
Engaged to shake my spirit!
O’ I get suffocated often,
A jungle of looming factors,
And me, so alone!
Push and pull to rise and prove,
A spark of insecurity, envy grew!
Emptiness crop up many a time!
Hazy my outer circles,
In the conflict,
Vampire, friend, or foe?
Visibly join forces to derail me often!
Yet I keep on!
Letting their vibes in and go!
Be they real or costume player,
Held in charge of the game, in their track.
Let their vibes add to this adventure!
Against all odds, I stay stubborn,
Ensure their tricks hinder my pace, not impact,
“You did that “
