Husband

She was confused. That day was her marriage. She was Meenakshi, a government employee. As she got a job a lot of proposals were reached for consideration. Many had been denied due to many issues. Among them, she received a proposal from Karthik. He had seen her and liked her earlier and as a result, the marriage had occurred within two months. 

Though she had talked to him many times she was tired of the day's rituals and sad about the missing of her parents. All these were the reason for her anxiety. Suddenly the door opened and he entered. He asked her whether she is bored sitting alone and enquire whether she called her parents. She felt surprised as he was able to read her mind. She went out to call her parents. Their sounds made her calm. After the call, she returned to the room he was calmly waiting for her. 

He made her sit aside and told her about his first love. Her name was Ganga, his colleague. Their relation lasted for three years. After that, she received a proposal from an NRI. Apart from her parents she too loved the proposal. Thus they break the relation. Then he inquired about her love. She informed him that she was not having any such relation. She added with disappointment that she desired to have a lover and read a love letter during her childhood days but it hadn't occurred. 

Suddenly he took her face in his hands and told her that both of them could love each other and be eternal lovers as that there is no need for fear of breakups. That day was the beginning of a spring in their life. He was a man who seeks her opinions even in minute issues. He supported her in all her ambitions. Once he found that she was good at drawing cartoons. He made an expo to depict her talents to all. Soon she and her cartoons had gained wide popularity. He was a man who was proud of her fame. 

Soon she had become pregnant. He was very happy on hearing the news. But though she was happy a small mourn was filled in her face. When he inquired about the same she kept silent at first but later when he forced her she told about the national cartoon competition that will be held after ten months. "I will be alright soon we have to drop some dreams ". By saying this she hugged him. 

After some months a baby had reached into their life and while she was feeding the baby. He arrived with a pass for the national cartoon competition. "All your dreams have to become a reality and I won't allow any of your dreams to go in vain. "When he completed this her lips touched her face a couple of times. 

After a few days, Karthik met his schoolmate Kishor accidentally. Both of them enquired about the family. Kishore started to tell about his life. "Kavya, that was the name of my wife. the girl of my dreams. But our life is full of quarrels she lacks maturity. Her ambition is to live always in a happy mood. Her regular complaints are that I am not loving and caring for her. I thought that she will be mature after being a mother. But my expectation was in vain. As the quarrels continued it was her suggestion to get separated. But I love her and is unable to live without her and my child. But she is arrogant "he said this and started to dry his eyes. 

Karthik sat beside him and told him that the greatest thing that a wife wishes for her man is his presence and understanding. Karthik then added that "You had loved her but you were always busy and hence hadn't shown her your love. Love which is kept as unexpressed is useless. You move towards her and make her convince about your love. "

Kishore moved towards his home and reached there. Kavya ignored him and served the food on the table. "Do you had?" he inquired. She replied negatively. He made her sit and served her food. He touched her hands and told her that he had avoided her many times. But it was not his lack of love but his strains and stress of jobs. He started to plead for mercy. But she forbade him and told him that she wished to be his eternal love and serve the whole life under his chest. 

He holds her tight and told her that "I won't avoid you anymore and would always express my love without any delay. "There begins a great era of love in their life. Karthik on reached his home heard his wife proudly telling her parents that her child would be like him. So that no one could ever be able to hate. On hearing the same he was having the satisfaction of being a good life partner and saving a relation from the verge of divorce. Marriage is the beginning of a beautiful era for those who are having strong love and understanding.
