Malavika and Amrita are best friends. One day they were kidnapped by a tribal group named"puli pada".They wanted to kill them to gain virtue from god. But they manage to escape from there. They ran with all their speed through strange roads. They felt hungry and thirsty. They moved to a nearby palace.

Suddenly a lady entered from the palace and asked the assistants to make them ready for the marriage. They felt surprised on seeing the palace. The maids give them food and water. Then they started to make them ready for the marriage. On the way, the servants narrated the whole thing. The name of that place is Thiruneyil village. Muthayya Bhattar was a rich man of that village. His wife is Lalithammal. They had three children Saravana, Siva and Sathya.

Their clan was having a strange custom. If a girl child is born then she would be married as general. But if a boy is born his partner would be the lady who enters the palace from outside. In many cases, the arrival of a lady would be by chance but they believe it as the decision of God. Lalithammal was the lady who arrived at the palace about thirty years ago and she was happily accepted by the parents of Muthayya Bhattar.

Three years back Swathi has arrived at the palace as Saravana's wife. That Swathi has asked the maid to make them ready for the marriage. Thus both of them stepped into new lives. The customs were far different from them. But they adjusted them. All nights there were music and dance. Thus they were leaving happily. One day a neighbour has found them.

She opened her eyes on hearing the scolding of her mother. She asked her to go and get ready to go to college, After some times Malavika realised that everything was a dream. Later she told Amrita and she mocked her and told her that she might have dreamt of her soulmate. However, she might have seen a false custom she firmly believed that such a custom existed somewhere some days. But she hadn't talk about it and she gradually forgotten it.
