Memory

She was Meenakshi, an IRS officer. One day she went outside for shopping. There she met her childhood friend Swathi. She told her many stories and enquired about her life. She informed her that she is getting many proposals. But hasn't fixed any one. Suddenly a man stand stood near Meenakshi.

 She introduced him as Vimal IAS, her husband. She added with smile that he is not blind Swathi. There they greeted each other. On the way she remembered her past. From childhood on wards.  Swathi used to mock at her telling that she was not beautiful and she used to tell her that if a man loved her then he would be blind. This had affected her confidence very much. But she stood forward in her studies. As a student she had reached great heights but as a girl her confidence lacked. She hated make ups and started to act as bold and adamant. After her bachelors when she was having her civil service preparation she met Vimal. Soon they become good friends.

 Vimal wished to ask her why she was not using ornaments and jewels. But he was feared if it affect their friendship. One day he gained courage and asked her and she told everything with tearful eyes. He told her that a man would definitely made for her. He made fun of him and told him definitely a prince would be coming on horse and asked him a joke if he could marry her. There ended the conversation and as months passed. Both had qualified the exam and gained a job. When the parents were thinking of her marriage, Vimal arrived with his family and told them he needs her.

But Meenakshi told her that he will get a pair much better than her.

As soon as she completed the same he touched her lips with his. Then he told her that she is beautiful and is enough for him. There begin their relation. Suddenly a hand touched her and she woke from her memory. It was him. She thought that if she had a love she cannot be able to love him as sincere as now. So she thought it as good and the car moved forward along with their life. Beauty is not physical but its mind and attitude that matters.
