Sister

As usual Satyapala, his wife Nalini and their daughter Vedika went for the evening walk. Suddenly a girl of sixteen or seventeen came from behind and called her "chechiamme". Suddenly her parents greeted Vedika with gratitude and told her that they pray for her as she had saved their daughter. She told them that she doesn't wish for gratitude. But she doesn't want a girl to loss her life on fearing the education and asked them not to force her for any classes. They promised the same to her and said good bye.

After they left her father enquired the issue. She told the story of that girl to them. "She was Swapna, a student of tenth standard. Last year I first met her she was standing in a state of confusion and depression. I asked the reason and she told me that she was weak in maths and hence her parents provided her special tuition. But she was afraid of that class and was not courageous to tell her parents about the fear. When she told this to her boy friend he told her to stay at his home during the class time. She decided to do the same.

But on getting her alone he tried to misbehave with her. But she managed to escape and was standing in road as confused. I went to her parents along with her and told everything. On hearing every thing they could feel relief of her saved from a danger. Then I meeting her today". When she completed this her parents felt proud of her and feared of dangers towards woman that is prevailing in today's society.
