My mother-the best teacher eve

My mother-the best teacher eve

I thought to write...

A 'Thank you note' for my teacher.

But! For whom?

For which teacher I mean by it...

And I pondered upon it.

Who is the best of all?

Is she my kindergarten, middle or high school teacher?

Or my University teacher!

All my teachers were good...

They taught me so well.

But one thing was peculiar about them...

They covered a particular stream I noticed...

They were bound by the syllabus and specialization I noticed.

Then who was the one!

Who didn't restrict her preaching!

Who taught me much more than textbooks and syllabus...

Whose service wasn't restricted by time limit or holidays.

Oh! I sighed...

Who can be the one?

None other than...

'MY MOTHER"

Thus, I made up my mind to thank the best teacher in my life...

Dear mother!

You were my first and best teacher.

You taught me well before I was born.

You taught me virtues, love, kindness & spirituality.

You taught me so well that I understood every bit of it...

Though my eyes were closed, I still remember it.

It wasn't a hurdle that I had my eyes closed...

Because,so well you had demonstrated.

God knew better that I could trouble you, if I had my eyes open in your womb...

So did He know that you could teach in full bloom.

You transported your attributes with the nutrients through the placenta...

And nurtured me so well with the vitamins of goodness.

When I was born...

In beautiful clothes, you always did me adorn.

You clung me close to your bosom...

And I learnt love and faith in relationships.

You told me nights are meant to rest...

By lulling me to sleep.

You taught me to grow well, it's mandatory to eat.

You had superpowers I doubt...

As hardly I found you asleep.

You worked till I slept. And still worked when I woke up.

Thus, you taught me hard work.

It wasn't that everybody was nice to you...

But always you did uphold your manners.

Thus, you taught me patience and forgiveness.

It's said that "a mother's lap is the child's first school."

But you were "a university in yourself."

You taught me everything, but one chapter is pending...

You resigned before its ending.

God wouldn't have accepted your resignation...

Rather have ordered you to complete your term.

As no teacher could resign before completing the portion.

This chapter is too hard my dear...

We can't understand it clear.

It's difficult to understand...

Living without you is something, we can't stand.

You could have taught us how to live without you...

Because, in every highs and lows, we always had you.

Now, it can't be done...

As you can't come.

We promise you one thing...

That we will revive your teachings.

And make you proud as the best mother and the best teacher in the world.
