The Innocent Eyes
The Innocent Eyes
The innocent eyes, full of love
And some unknown attraction,
Dazzles like the brightest stars,
Speaks volume,
Replays the happiest scenes,
Unknown to happiness, sorrow, and pain,
No fear and tension.
As days pass,
Time robs the innocence off the eyes,
Purity is lost,
The innocence gets venomous
Mixed with the cunning minds,
It changes colours,
The cute and jovial childishness,
That really make you smile,
And seize all your pain,
Gets confused in this complicated,
And wicked world.
With the blinking of the eyes,
In no time cuteness is robbed,
Tenderness is gone,
Innocence is lost
Being overloaded with fear, insecurity.
The moment makes an entry,
To the world of pain, agony,
Feels the real feelings,
Life changes, grows fast,
But, a hollowness grows inside,
Because the time has robbed the innocence.
