Where Is My Fault?

From time to time

Like sand, pebbles and tide

all the love and relationships  

I had earned slipped away 

in no time.

Throughout my life

I have tried chasing love, 

I have made unconscious

and sometimes

conscious efforts

to grip them all

so that they won't slip away. 

I made endless efforts, 

left no stone unturned 

to let the bondings be

honest and strongest ever  

so that love will grow richer, 

friendship will grow older. 

Some of them slipped away

so deliberately 

because they had 

their own rules and conditions. 

Where is my fault? 

Some relationships maintained 

a sort of distance knowingly 

as they have gone ahead in life,

as no more I fit to their lives.

They decided to move on, 

and where is my fault? 

Some were still pulling on

with a wish to always dominate

either with their power, or opulence 

or with a wish to hold the string forever

so that they can make me a puppet

and make the puppet show

whenever they want.

When I opened up a 

bit they avoided me, 

and where is my fault?
