Green Warriors
Green Warriors
Cracking sound of crisp leaves under my feet as once again I stepped in the COMPANY GARDEN to take a glimpse. Which was months back barren and filled with sludge. No greens only puddles, and litter around my feet, that nobody could stand on their way to trek. Only stray dogs, and mosquitoes inhabited that land. Morning walkers couldn't stand the musty smell in the air.
There came a ray of hope when PHULKARI GREEN came looked over the land. A group of ladies who held hands to save our nature, which was crippling in all stands. Our GREEN WARRIORS, who nurtured nature so well, that buds bloomed in the heart of the city so well.
As I looked around the place, I could smell wood shavings mixed with crisp greens, as it was spread on land. Our GREEN WARRIORS pointed out it was munching process to make compost, out of dry leaves fallen on land. Pot irrigation was stretched all around the bed. The GREEN WARRIORS were reviving the lost art of irrigation. Their endeavour could be seen in every speck of land. As they had grown saplings of flowering shrubs and fruits yielding seeds. There were no puddles, no mess around.
Once again I could see souls walking in peace.
