Aahana is born and bought up in an orthodox family where rules differ based on gender.

She has a younger brother Aryan who is the apple of his parent's eyes.

As is always the case in such families Aryan was always right and Aahana was always told to listen to her brother and to keep him happy at any cost. She like an obedient child did things exactly how her parents told her to without any questions hoping to make away in their hearts but, only to face disappointment each time.

Time went by and Aahana by now had come to terms with her life though, a fire was burning inside her. The fire to prove herself to her parents that she too exists and to prove to the world what a woman or a girl can do. She also knew that people in her town had certain rules for women, rules which had to be followed by each and every word by the female counterparts. Only and the rebel in Aahana often told her that if she wants all her wishes and all that she aspires to come true she has to flee this town and get rid of the atrocities thus, associated. Her mind told her a different story that fleeing is not an option as the girls might have to live a lifestyle that might be worse than the current scenario and this was something she didn’t want. Thus, she decided to stay in her town and set an example for all to see.

Now, the bigger picture comes in play i.e, how to put her plan in action. She was thinking about this on her way home when a billboard caught her attention and she quickly jotted down the number.

The following day she thought it would be perfect to put her plan in action as she would be alone at home and thus, without wasting a single moment she called up at the number and enrolled herself for the class.

Now, unknown to her family and friends Aahana had always dreamt of becoming a pilot but, knew that she had to keep this a secret as in her town girls were devoid of all the basic necessities and they could study till a certain class. Somehow, she convinced her parents to let her become a graduate and then she would limit herself to the house. Her parents agreed and Aahana couldn't have been happier.

Coming back to the present Aahana has already enrolled herself for the class and was happy that the foundation is being laid. Life was going the way she wanted and she was the brightest student in her class. Unknown to her though life had planned something else for it and that day when she was on her way back home her father caught her red-handed and was furious. Seeing her father she was taken completely off guard and on reaching home her father without listening to her just told her to leave the house immediately for he cannot allow any disgrace on his family name and all pleas of Aahana seemed to fall on deaf ears.

Left with no choice she left the house but, didn't know where to go. She found a corner to sit where a faculty member saw her who took Aahana to her house and after making sure that Aahana is now in a better state of mind told her to come to Kolkata City for advanced training with better facilities. Aahana who had nowhere to go decided to trust this lady and went with her.

Having reached Kolkata and the training center Aahana was awe stuck with the facilities and realized how badly she wanted to become a pilot. Needless to say, she left no stone unturned and soon became a certified pilot.

One day it so happened that a town was devastated by floods and the government was trying to help the residents. Thus, a team was sent to survey the level of devastation and check for survivors. Aahana was amongst the chosen for this task and on the destined time left on her mission. Soon, the skyline could be seen and which gave her goosebumps though, at the same time her eyes welcomed tears for this was her town where she had grown up and learned to love despite its thinking. Nevertheless, she had a duty to do and calmed herself. Now, she was Aahana the pilot who with the rescue team started exploring each area so as to chalk out an evacuation plan.

Her planning was brilliant and within a few days just a handful of survivors remained to be evacuated but, since these remaining people were stuck in a zone which was half underwater a different approach was needed and for this, she would be needing more people. The town people came to her rescue and with their help this place too was evacuated or so she thought for coming from distance cries of help could be heard and frantic waving of the hands could be seen. On having a closer look there were just 3 people here and whom she recognized at once. After all, relations of the blood are not so thin that they can be forgotten. The family was united after a span of 5 years and Aahana saw guilt in her parent's eyes. She smiled at them and simply said " Yes I can and I did"
