Unexplained events

This is a story based on some real life incidents that cannot be explained logically. But, they did happen really and I was the one who experienced it What, how and why were questions that kept reeling in our minds. These incidents could not be taken seriously for they truly were simple, nothing to worry about but we were forced to think about how to avoid the results of these incidents. Isn't it confusing? Yes, they are and the same was felt by us too. The story that follows this introduction in so very similar to what I rather we experienced a few months back. I will definitely add my personal experiences at the end .                  Sumit, what happened to your car? It seems it has some problem that is so weird . Your wife shared the issue with my wife said Neeraj to Sumit when they were strolling in the garden during their morning walk. Yes, Neeraj i just don't know and understand how to explain you the problem my car is giving to me recently. I even spoke to Hindustan motors regarding the issue. They too were confused and puzzled with what they heard from me as never in the history of their sales they have come across such an issue said Sumit. Neeraj became alert and wanted to know what the real matter was as like every one who heard about the car and the problem it was making off late , the matter was not so simple that is what Neeraj understood.            

 What Sumit said was simply mind blowing. He said Neeraj my car does not like me having vanilla ice cream from the ice-cream parlour near my house. Everytime I stop my car and have vanilla ice-cream it refuses to start but when I eat other flavours then there is no issue. The car gets started instantly. I have been noticing this problem for the past few months. I even called Hindustan Motors and complained the same. They immediately sent a technical expert who checked the car and said there seems to be no technical problem with the car Sumit was worried he then wrote a letter to the director of Hindustan Motors explaining his ordeal that started once he purchased his new car from them. The company director initially did not bother much regarding the complainant as it was really weird and confusing. Then after repeated requests from Sumit the director sent a quality engineer of Hindustan Motors to check what the issue really was. Sumit explained to him that their family had an habit of eating ice-cream after dinner everyday and they used to try different flavours everytime they visited the ice-cream parlour. The problem started after he started to stop and buy vanilla ice-cream and the car would not get started immediately. The quality engineer and Sumit continued to visit the ice-cream parlour for a couple of days and the engineer noticed that the car would not start after buying vanilla ice-cream at the stores and when Sumit purchased other flavours of ice-cream the car would not give any such trouble.

This was indeed a very rare and unbelievable glitch. How to solve this issue was a big problem to the Company director, President of the company and the quality engineer who was assigned to solve the matter. After a couple of days the solution to the problem came into the quality engineer's mind. He noticed that Sumit used to stop his car right in front of the Vanilla ice cream parlour to buy the ice-cream and only then the car would refuse to start as told by Sumit too, but when he bought other flavours this was not a problem. Hurrah! I got the answer shouted the engineer. This is called vapour lock and this phenomena is creating the trouble. Technically speaking vapour lock is a process that creates a halt in the fuel delivery system that creates trouble in re starting the vehicle after a short stoppage. Fuels with high volatility may also lead to vapour lock which again prevents the immediate starting of the engine of the vehicle. Whatever it was, the reason and the solution were so simple. Every one had a laugh and a big sigh of relief. Sumit gets an uncontrolled laughter whenever he thinks about all the incidents related to the Vanilla ice cream parlour, his car and it's technical issues, how and what went on in his mind about the happenings around these aspects and finally what it all turned about .     Now, let us get into the epilogue of this story which infact is real and experienced by me the writer of this episode.                       

       I have experienced many such incidents that may appear stupid and weird and illogical too. People may mistake what I say as some illusions or hallucinations all of which do not have any scientific explanation nor reason. But, as I have such experiences which have created some sort of trouble I had to believe in them. Some time back I even thought them to be some sort of black magic or others done by enemies to create trouble in our lives. But, the incidents were so silly that such serious background was not applicable at all. Then what?why?How were almost constantly ringing in my mind. Here I will cite a very silly reason which created havoc in my mind. Year 2019 the pandemic time and with both my sons back home from their respective campuses(lock down)i had to cook, clean, wash, fetch veggies etc, etc. With no maid in sight again due to lock down the house hold chores were a burden to me. As grown up adults my sons wanted me to cook some tasty food as and when they asked for apart from the routine break fast, lunch and dinner. Snacks time was the challenging time of the day. They did not like the routine bhajiyas and gujiyas generation gap you see, so swiggy and Zomato came into picture. We started fetching food frequently from Resturants around and snacks from a near by bakery called Swiss castle. No doubt the snacks at the bakery were very tasty and not very heavy on the wallet too. So, happily I used order veg. burgers, onion samosas, cutlets, etc. So far everything was okay.

The problem started when my children used to get annoyed with each other for no reason and sometimes they would almost get verbally aggressive with each other. Noticeably when the food was ordered from this bakery their work would get affected eg. the grades would be lesser than usual academically or share trading would be affected. All reasons were so stupid and silly to hear nor they could be discussed with others for the same reason. After many such repeated glitches which had no explanation nor reason we stopped ordering all the tasty items from the bakery which makes our mouth water even today. But, with no option we have stopped getting food from this bakery. Can any one give me a reason for this please?
