Three Brothers

Once there lived 3 brothers. The oldest was called Ram, the middle one Raj, and the youngest one Raju. They were very poor. They had 4-5 marigold and rose trees in the front of their hut. They used to sell the flowers and earn their living. They were very lazy. They almost starved as they had money only for bread each and swallowed it with water every day.

Once one of their friends was visiting the village where they lived for some important work. He needed a place to stay that night so, he went to the brother's house but after when he saw that how poor they were he hesitated to go. But he had no option left. He went to their house. The brothers did not eat their dinner and gave it all to their friend so that he would not starve. Their friend was feeling very guilty when he went to sleep on some worn-out rugs. He knew that if the brothers work hard they can live a comfortable life.

As it was midnight he went outside the house, cut the trees, and left for his house. The next day when the brothers woke up and saw the trees cut they started to fuss. "We starved ourselves last night so he could feed himself well" scowled Raju. The brothers had to now work and then earn their living. Slowly like a baby step they started to enjoy working soon they started to save money and after 5 years they became rich merchants.

Now, their friend again had important work. This time he was very scared to go but he went - he went and was ready to get beaten up by the brothers but when the brothers saw him they started to thank him for teaching them a lesson on laziness. They had a hearty meal and became best friends.
