The Girl Who Doubted

Once there lived a girl named Mary. She was not like the other girls and would like to go out and enjoy the cool breeze and smell the fresh air in springs. She liked the birds when they sang and ooh! she liked to hike all day long on the long ranges of mountains and do camping. She used to climb the trees up and down like a monkey for its bananas!

One day she was traveling from a train as she wanted to go to her uncle's house. She wanted to sit beside the window as you know she likes to breathe the fresh air.

So she asked a man that can he sit on her place and she on his? The man suddenly got up and replied her brusquely,” How dare you ask to me like this? I am not going anywhere. You are just a little girl not to speak up to your adults! Understand?”

He got very furious and was about to shout at her like a mad but just then the station appeared and the man warned the poor and innocent girl that this time you were lucky and climbed down the train with a huff.

Mary was in shock. What happened? Why was the man angry though I asked him so politely? Hmmm…. Maybe he was in a angry mod or something. With this thought Mary went to her uncle's house but the enthusiasm she had was lost.

She was sad for a whole day and thought where was she wrong? Was she a little bit rude? Have she done something like this in the past and the god punished her for it in the train?

Her aunt noticed Mary’s uneasiness and discomfort and sat beside her and asked,” what happened my dear Mary? Why are you sad ? do you remember your mother and want to go back home?”             Mary just nodded and the next day she was back at home.

Mary was thereafter never gone for climbing her dreams. She was successful but never achieved her dream as she doubted herself.

She thought that being so adventures may get her into more troubles.

She never tried to understand that the fault was of that man.

Poor Mary, she was felt really hurt somewhere deep within her heart.

Moral- Never doubt yourself.
