Missing Pouch

Olivia was a cute little girl with spectacles. She was very clever and always topped the class. one day she was completing her English class work when her mother called her,” Olivia, will you please give me a pen dear?”

“yes, mom,” said Olivia and took her pouch with her to give her mother a pen.

When she went to her mom and gave her a pen Olivia’s friend called her,” Olivia, will you come to play with me? You had promised.”

“yes” cried Olivia and went to play.

In hurry, she left her pouch on a stack of clothes.

Just after Olivia went to play her sister (her sister’s name was Martha) came to take a napkin. She did not notice Olivia’s pouch but instead, she saw another napkin which was more beautiful in another stack of clothes which was just beside the first one. She tokes that napkin and kept the first one on top of Olivia’s pouch. Then again she saw one more beautiful napkin and this happened 4 times!(you know that kids are so distracted) and like this, she kept 4-5 To napkins on top of Olivia’s pouch.

The next day when Olivia went to pack her school bag she was not able to find her pouch.

She cried,” oh my gosh! I am not able to find my pouch. What am I going to do!? mom, dad I am not able to find my pouch.”

Her mother shouts at her,” very naughty of you Olivia! You misplace your things and cry at the last moment that I am not able to find. Now, borrow a pen from your dad and go to school. After coming search for your pouch.

“ok mom”

In school she got scolding's from her teachers as well.

It wasn’t a day for Olivia!

After coming from school she got fresh. After eating some snacks she went in her room to find her pouch. That is when her father comes in.

He says,” Olivia, don’t be sad. Look I have found your pouch.”

Olivia looks at the pouch and exclaimed,” dad! Where did you find my pouch?”

Her father said,” it was in between the clothes stacked. I was searching for my pant for ironing and found your pouch!”

“oh! Dad” said Olivia.” you saved my dad”

“I am glad I could” whispered her father,” but do not tell it to your mom or she might ruin my day by shouting like a mad!”

Olivia whispered and asked,” why would she shout at you and ruin your day?”

“as you know your mom is very strict on your own responsibilities.”

“so?”

“so, she might say,” why o you always find things for her? You know that it is her responsibility to keep her things properly and BLAH, BLAH, BLAH” giggled her father.

“yes, dad” Olivia replied giggling and became happy.

Isn’t Olivia lucky to have such a lovely family?
