I was enjoying the loneliness of the moonlit midnight. The cool breeze was singing a melancholy song. The silence of the surrounding was making me more lonely. After a hectic schedule till midnight, I just got the chance to relax and was trying to take a nap. But being alone, it was keeping me awake.

Suddenly things changed. The moon was playing hide and seek behind the dark clouds and the entire surrounding got rejuvenated. The lonely midnight turned dark, and the breeze started blowing the whistle of happiness. I could see, she was lying there. The tall, dark and slim beauty was taking a moon bath. I could feel the sweetness of the aromatic breeze, graced by her beauty. She was lying very near to me. My love, my crush, was sleeping, with her dark hair separating her beauty to be touched by the moon. My possessive look was staring at the moon.

It was love at first sight. We came there at the same time, very near, almost parallel to each other. I tried to express my feelings to her, a no of times, but couldn't come very close to her because of the surrounding. I was afraid, if she would turn down my love, it would hurt me a lot. So it was a silent love. Better to have her near me and enjoy her beauty and presence, than lose her. I don't care whether she reciprocates my feelings or not, but I know I can wait for her forever, maybe someday we will meet at a distance just to feel each other for a while and again moving away.

The distant horizon was getting ready to welcome the dawn and the dark night with all her companions were preparing to exit. She was trying to open her sleepy eyes to see the arrival of the dawn, and just turned towards me and gave a smile, more mischievous than the smile of Monalisa. I know this adorable smile will make my day. It will strengthen my feelings for her. I am sure one day I can negate the theory of two parallel lines, to prove that they can also meet at a point when the force of attraction will exceed the force of separation.

Both of us were getting ready to join back to our duty after all we had to provide a safe passage to so many up and down trains, hardly getting any time to look at each other, till the arrival of the much-awaited midnight.
