The Toilet Museum
The Toilet Museum
Dear Diary,
I wanted to share about my first trip without being accompanied by parents... that had really brought me a sense of accomplishment then!... 'I will have all the liberty to decide when to sleep and when to do what', is what I assumed but it wasn't so ... Haha...
That was a trip in reward of winning a dance performance at school and was co-organized by an NGO. They took all the due care of tickets, stay, food and fun plus charity events. Of course, I was all excited about it. We were all a group of 45 students along with 10 teachers/coordinators and it was a 10-day long trip! I absolutely enjoyed each day. We had few events to attend, a couple of dance performances, visits slum for charity work and meet a few dignitaries!

Among all that, the most memorable was we visiting a TOILET museum, Oh yes ! you read it right... it was a toilet museum. We all first thought it was misspelled but no; it wasn't... smiling!
That was 'Sulabh International museum of the toilet'; its one of the weirdest museums in the world which exhibits various types of toilets or squatting pans ... Interesting...isn't? That was established by Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak Sir, who accompanied us and briefly explained the agenda behind each setup... To know more you can always google it ... I will keep it short !!
It's 17 years to this and I still remember every bit of it. Have you visited any such ever ??
See ya XXXX
