In the midst of a dense forest there was a happy contented and a beautiful kingdom full of trees and wildlife. The king who ruled that kingdom was good natured , adventurous and wise. His name was Alexander.

Once there a came a really difficult problem for him. It so happened that the country's happiness didn't only come from the king but also the magical stone. It was a stone that was kept at the edge of the forest one had to overcome several difficult challenges to face it. The stone had unmeasurable power within it and someone was going to steal it.

There was actually a prophecy that the scar on the king's forehead would glow once which meant that the stone was was in mortal danger and 3 children would go and save the stone. The king had never actually believed this prophecy until last night. He was sitting thinking about the ways to make his kingdom better when suddenly he felt a tingling sensation on his forehead. He started to rub his forehead but that made it worse it felt like needles were prickling his forehead. He went to look in the mirror of his room and was startled by a blinding light then he realised what was happening. His head started spinning and he collapsed on his bed. After a while when the pain had surrendered he went to the mirror again and saw the reality the scar had glowed.

He immediately called his soldiers and ministers into the court and started to explain the night's happening. Their reaction was scared, angry, confused. The king silenced all the talks that were going in the royal court . He spoke " I understand why you all are feeling scared this has never happened before but we must not be cowards we must face this challenge bravely and show whoever the person is trying to steal that we will not let this happen."

Someone from the ministers said " But king what about the prophecy?" . "About that we need to wait till the morning as according to prophecy the children will appear themselves at the royal court tomorrow morning."

Their were murmurs of agreement then they all went to sleep. The next morning as all the ministers and soldiers stared gathering their came a laughing sound of children as 3 children stepped in the royal court followed by 2 soldiers. All the eyes turned towards them. There were 2 boys and one girl. They all were triplets and had the same sharp features and strawberry blond hair with a grin on their faces. They seemed of the age 12 and carried fruit baskets on their shoulders. One of the boys said " Good morning sir we are here to sell these fruits collected directly from the forest they are."

The king started to explain everything to these children who listened eagerly with a grim expression on their faces finally the king said " will you be able to do this". The girl said " My king this has been my family's native place from generation to generation we will be honoured to help you through this difficult problem."

The very next day the children left. They had no family and lived in the woods. Their names were Harry, Sophie and Sam. They started their journey. They had all carried small backpacks with necessary items. They had to go to the through the restricted zone that no one was allowed to go through as it had many scary animals.

As they started their journey the first adventure they came across was giant beast. His body was huge with teeth as big as an elephant teeth. He snarled and growled once he saw them. His voice boomed in the forest. Sophie screamed and said run they quickly hid behind a few boulders, Sam said " we don't have time we can't run Sophie and harry take out the rope and put it on beast neck I will distract it till then, Now go" as there came a crashing voice as the boulder beside them crushed. They all ran Sophie and Harry quickly climbed a tree as they took out the rope and aimed it till then Sam went in front of the beast feet. The beast snarled and stamped his feet barely missing Sam. Sam started to run but the beast caught him. His grip was vice like and almost chocked Sam the beast raised his hand almost putting him in his mouth when suddenly he dropped him. Sam fell with a thud and fainted . Harry and Sophie had put the rope on the beast neck "Sophie go and put Sam somewhere save I will be able to control it till then" Harry said panting.

Sophie climbed down the tree and picked up Sam. His head was bleeding but she didn't have time. She climbed back the tree barely reaching in time. Harry couldn't hold much longer. She then got a idea she took out the sword that the king had given them and aimed it on the monster's eye blinding it. " That was amazing" Harry said " Thanks but I don't think we have time" The monster was going mad he growled continuously and flung his arms here and there.

Both of them climbed down took Sam and ran they finally reached a place far away. Both of their body had cuts all around and were both bleeding badly. But the worse was Sam his face was full of blood and his body had gone all stiff and pale. Sophie and Harry both treated him with the medical things they had bough. Then Sophie went to sleep while Harry kept watch and then Harry went to sleep while Sophie kept watch.

The next morning Sophie woke up Harry and said "let's let's prepare the food I am guessing Sam will probably be woken up by then." She was right Sam woke up and they all had food as they left to face another adventure. Sam wasn't completely healed but since he was so strong he had survived.

The next adventure they came across was a cave. They went inside it. It was very dark all of them took hold of each other's hands. They walked several minutes when suddenly there came a voice " go back or you must suffer" and then sharp cold fingers started touching them. " what should we do" Sophie said scared. "Keep walking " Sam replied. As they were walking ghostly sounds started coming then their was pain a lot of pain but it wasn't physical it was happening mentally it was a nightmare they weren't sure what was reality. They all started seeing their worst fears and now it felt like they were dying because of the darkness. The darkness was pulling them under.

" I think the only way to escape this nightmare world will be to focus on the good everybody close your eyes and think about all the memories that you wish to cherish" Sam said.

They all started to do that and it was a matter of minutes when suddenly light hit them. "We've escaped" they all cried in unison.

They continued moving forward and then saw a shining object kept on a tree above. It was the magical stone. They all started running towards it when Sam called "wait!! I I don't think this will be that easy let me throw a rock and see what happens" he quickly took a rock and threw it towards the tree they all seemed to hold their breath then after a moment there came blast of fire as the fire seemed to swallow the rock in.

"Thank goodness we waited" Sam said in relief. "But what are we supposed to do now."

Harry thought for a second and said "remember what our mother used to say always follow your heart and trust your instincts and mine say to go and get the stone". Harry ran and climbed the tree before Sophie and Sam could process what he was doing. Both of them almost had a heart attack when they realised they started to shout come back come back but they were too late Harry helped picked up the stone. Nothing happened they waited and waited and soon Harry climbed down with the stone "well you are mad" Sam said as Sophie shouted "are you okay"

"I am fine I am fine and look nothing happened" Harry said proudly lifting the stone. Then they all went to the Kingdom and showed the king the stone the king was delighted. Then Harry told him about the strange encounter with the stone. "I think the reason is that when Sam threw the stone he had doubt that he won't be able to get the stone but when Harry went to get the stone he had no doubt and believed in himself I have a feeling that this stone is capable of knowing who believe in themselves." replied the wise king.

Who know what actually happened but the stone was saved and the children were awarded. Their this adventure was a memorable one but there were many more to come.
