The Plot

Mid-afternoon, a group of young children was in a serious discussion. Jerry said we need to think how to get it. Chakri and Raju felt the same Dhruv Ananya were not so sure so as Veni and others in the group All were waiting for jerries response you see he was after all the leader of the group which consisted of 8-year-olds and 10-year-olds. Jerry was 11 years old so the chosen leader of the group. No no don't come to any conclusions, you might be wondering what the matter was?!

A very serious one indeed, it was how to flick guavas from the neighborhood tree that belonged to Ammal an old lady and a mean one too she never shared the fruit with any one. Especially these kids so mean isn't it. It was not that these kids were deprived of the same in their homes but that tree was special and the guavas were sweeter beyond words. Finally Jerry reveals his plan. He suggests that when Ammal dozes off to sleep in the afternoon they would implement their plan. Ammal's sons would be of to college and work respectively so no problems at all.

So the planning done and flicking done successfully for a few times. kids happy,finally their plan was happening. But wait one day assuming Ammal was sleeping the children go about their normal routine work of flicking guavas I mean. but but that day Ammal was present there and she started telling at the group. she even complained to their mothers. But after a gap of few days children at it again feeling elated. Now comes the twist to the plan. Ammals youngest son Parth was fed up with this whole thing and noticed his mother was irritated by the children. so he hatched a plot to catch them red handed while they would come to flick guavas

. So what was the plot?? He covers himself with a green cloth and sits on the branch of the tree and when the kids would come to flick he would catch them and punish them. what an idea sir,,,? Master plan. Everything planned and Parth is waiting on the d_day fully charged up. The children come and climb the tree to flick the ripe tasty guavas and lo behold Parth jumps from behind yelling oh mama something bit me. Oh no, the children just run away. The plot failed and all had a hearty laugh and even today it elicits the same feeling thinking about the jolly time they all had it was nothing but an innocent plan and no plot.
