The Goddess Of Night

Oh! it is an awful day today shouted Peter at the top of his voice, how frustrating. I wish I had never woken up today morning. What do I mean? Well, my day started with my falling off my bed because I literally jumped out of bed. What happened to the alarm clock, it did not go off. Hence, I am late. So out I jump and sprain my ankle. So I limped around the house for my breakfast, lunch, coffee etc. You see my mother had gone to her father's house leaving me hopeless as well as helpless. To further aggravate my situation I had a major presentation at my office. 

So, I grabbed my breakfast, and lunch, jumped into the cab and rushed into the office. My horror started when I realized that my presentation is not working. Further, the pen drive also did not work. Here I was doomed, I had my boss, and the client all sitting across and here I am completely off balance. well after a lot of convincing my boss and clients, we agreed on a day, two days from today. So I had a long day of failure and now I am home, I am bone tired and I just had pizza delivered. I just wish for this day to end. 

Well, now I am waiting for the Goddess of Night in her beautiful black dress with shimmering mirrors to take me in her arms and put me to sleep so that tomorrow is a brighter day for me. Well, I realize all of us want to forget a tough day and embrace sleep, well that night my mom came back three days earlier and believe me when she just let me rest in her lap and there I was in the arms of the night Goddess out of my frustration for the day at least. God blessed us with her.
