The Banjaran's Of Jaipur

Hey folks I am Shamitha on the beautiful train palace on Wheels. I am a student in class 8th. Here I am on this fabulous train swoosh, woosh goes the train. Well, travelling on the Palace of Wheel itself is a wonder. I am thoroughly enjoying this sleep in the lap of luxury. Wow, it is simply a splendour and the most luxurious trip I have had ever. I enjoyed every part of the trip. But even today after 3 months I remember those beautiful ladies in their red lehengas with mirror work. These ladies were dressed in these dresses, all had earthen pots on their heads, and they were singing a Rajasthani folk song and carrying water. 

Despite the heat they were walking barefooted on the sand humming a song to themselves and mind you, they gave water to a walker by. I felt like they were the Goddess of Oasis in their dazzling mirrored dress. well they gave us a musical dance and walked on the rope, fire dance, the women in red dancing, singing walking on fire expression enhanced by their red dresses, they give the appearance of Goddess of fire working tirelessly in the summer, sun burns the ladies of fire and still they glow in their sweat, pain and show us the path that even in hardships we must do our best and glow like the beautiful banjara of Jaipur.
