Pinky was a small girl. She was in Class II.

One Sunday evening, she went to her courtyard. There was a big mango tree.

She was very sad.

So, She sat under the mango tree and started dreaming in the cool breeze of the wind.

A butterfly named Spongy came in her dream and spoke to her.

Hey! Pinky, ‘Why are you sad? What happened to you?’

Pinky told Spongy that she had stolen her brother’s pencil and her mother found out. So, her mother scolded and beat her.

Spongy said to Pinky, “You are a good girl. Stealing is a bad habit. God does not love the children who steal”.

Then, Pinky realized her mistake. She promised Spongy that she would not do it again.

“Come! Let us play together”, Spongy asked.

Pinky asked the butterfly, “How can I play with you? I’m a girl.

Then, Spongy transformed her into a butterfly.

Both of them were flying and playing together cheerfully. Spongy took Pinky to her home, gave food and took care of her.

Pinky was so glad to be with Spongy.

Now, Pinky woke up from her dream. Her mother was calling her. Pinky went to her mother and apologized for her mistake.

Her mother forgave her. Pinky felt very happy.

Moral: “Don’t Steal. Be genuine to yourself ”.
