Surya The Dancer

Their was a boy who's name was Surya. He is a child from very poor family. They live Pune. His mother and father both are labours. Surya is also a labour at age of 10. They work a lot in a day, but they all got a very little amount of money. But Surya has a talent: Dance.

He love to dance. He also dances sometimes in between his labouring work. But due to financially condition of his family he was not able to learn dance or to participate in a competition. But he dances so good. He mostly thought about dance. His idol was Michael Jackson.

One day his father got an heart attack while working. They take him to a nearby goverment hospital. Doctors saved his father but they also told that he can die any moment, his heart's condition is so bad. You should do a surgery of him in the hospital of Mumbai which will worth you 25 lakh. These operation can't be done here.

After listening this Surya and his mother was shocked for arranging 25 lakhs and some money for travel also. His father rests in home and Surya and his mother worked double time for double money. They was so sad. Always praying to god. They cried a lot in home for Surya's father. It was a very bad situation.

One day when Surya thought also to dance and arrange money. People were donating a lot of money. But it was not enough for him. A newspaper selling man saw this and asked Surya will you like to participate in a dance competition. And says yes and tell all about him and his family. The man was sad for it. He then took a newspaper from his basket and show him the front page of newspaper.

Their was written '' The Solo Dancer'', entries start from 15 to 17 September. The man told that he will help him to participate and the prize money worth 10 crores. This competition occurs once in 10 years. Surya asked his mom about it, she allowed him but she also says that she can't effort the entry fee and the travel charge. But the man told that he will pays all bills, Just give Surya a chance. So, Surya asked him why you want me to participate in it. 

The man said that this not the time to say you this, I am a dance teacher and I will teach you. We have practice now, let's go. On that day that practiced a lot , this continued, they practise every single day. On 13 September evening, the man, Surya and his parents gone for Mumbai.

They reached their on 14th and registered Surya's name in the competition on 15th. Surya practised a lot, he never takes break. The man practised him also.

The auditions was on 25th September. The judges were so nice dancers. Surya's no. was on 578. After 3 hours Surya's number came, he was quiet nervous but also confident. He danced what he learnt and gives his best. Judges told him very nice comments, they make a big applause by telling him that he was selected. Surya can't control his happiness. He was so excited.

But the man told him that, you has to practise more as their are many rounds left now also. They all day prasticed and practised, practised and practised. Surya passed all rounds day by day and at last he was selected for the finals. Their was top 4 participants in which Surya was at Top 3. But only one will take the prize. Surya's parents were so happy for him.

Before 2 days of final round, when Surya told the man to practise, he denied. Surya asked the reason for it. The man replied that he should take a day rest. Surya thought that it was a holiday for him. But after sometime Surya thought that the man who always told him to practise is telling to rest. So Surya asked again to the man and told him to tell the truth.

The man told OK. Then he told to Surya did you remember that you are asking me why I want to participate you in the competition. So Surya told Yes. Then he told, actually I am married and I also haved a son. My wife, my son and me our dream was to win a dance competition so we participated in this competition only before 10 years, at that time it was a group competition. We all are in the same group.

But when my wife and my son are performing a stunt while dancing, for one mistake they died their one the stage on today only that's why I don't want to dance today and this is the reason I want you to participate. By telling this the man cried a lot by remembering the incident. Surya was so sad for him.

After two days December 31 the finals came. Surya performed his dance at third. After all performances are over judges told that they will tell the result at today at 11:50pm. So that they will give the prize to the winner at 12 on New Year Eve's. Surya was so nervous. All were praying god. At last the time came and judges announced that the winner of 10 crore is Surya. 

Surya can't express his emotions. His parents were so happy. The man was so proud on Surya. The stage was fully filled with the sound of applause for Surya. From that money Surya's father operation was successfully done. They also make the man as their own family member. Then they all lived happily.

MORAL: We can do anything with our practice and other's motivation.
