My uncertain in green

"Morning locals are never appealing". Continued to listen to her music as she looked around contemplating what the faces surrounding her were expressing, and making up theatrical stories in her with her fav jam in the background. Yes, that's more interesting.

Upon reaching the destination her stomach growled with hunger, even though she have had oats and milk before starting. Or she is just nervous and excited to meet him at the end of the and give him his birthday gift. On the way to the shop she kept on replaying her last night's conversation with her "uncertain in green". He was entrusted to organise a game night for the Diwali party, and him not have anything traditional to wear. 

She was not confident with her choice, so upon reaching the shop she asked the shopkeeper to help her out. The shopkeeper quite generously and enthusiastically helped pick a Punjabi ( a Bengali traditional kurta for men) and pajama ( pant sort to wear underneath the Panjabi). While paying the shopkeeper could resist but ask her "are you buying this for your boyfriend?". Her cheeks instantly flushed and there was an ear-to-ear smile in an attempt to hide her face she immediately looked down as if trying to look for something in her and stammered "N..n..no" and reply with ever-so quietly "just a friend". 

She walked out of the shop not looking up until she took an auto. As if to protect her thoughts and feelings that her eyes might give up if anyone just looked closely.

She had been talking to her "uncertain in green" and updating him about her advances. At the same time, he was stuck on duty with no hopes of being discharged for the day. In the meantime she finished her work and boarded the train to him, not hoping anymore to meet him. She wrote a little something on the cover and was just ready to call him helper. 

With a "ping" she was overjoyed and nervous at the same time. While waiting at the station her heart and mind simultaneously flipped back and forth, nervous and excited she was passing, which was broken by his call. 2hr was the highlight of her day.

The next day her phone was bombarded with pictures of her "uncertain in green" wearing her gift. As happy as she was seeing him wearing that.. he mentioned getting compliments on the choice and color combination.
