My Love

  Once in a rainy day, the classes were over before 4pm. The boy and the girl were doing their pre final year in their college. Even though there were no classes the college was so busy with the placement work. The third students were going for a placement drive in some other college. Nearly 500 college students were attending the off campus drive. The Romeo and Juliet of our story were also going for that with no idea that God had a plan for each other to share their rest of the lives together. 

      It was a huge crowd flooded in the college where the campus drive was going to happen. The boy and the girl were from the same college and same department in the same class. But still that placement drive they didn't talk with each other in person. As the registration process was going on it was a two day placement drive. Even the girl didn't have the idea that she would get selected for the next day. Somehow by some way it's called fate. They both registered their names and they were waiting for the first round.

   It was a group discussion round. The jury who was working from the organisation that was going to hire their employees asked them to talk their own topic to check their fluency. He gave ten minutes of time for their preparation. They both were in the same room facing each other. After some point of time after all of them had performed. The results were out. The girl got selected for the next round that happened on the same day. The boy who didn't get selected on the first round roamed around the college and he went back to his college with his friends.

  Late evening the results for the second round. Again the girl got selected for the next round that was going to happen on the very next day. She didn't know where she was going to stay that night and she was not prepared for that. 

 For her surprise her classmate's roommate in hostel was having her grandparents home there. So those who are selected for the next day joined with her for the stay. It was a nice place to stay with all the old age people. She had a couple of grandparents staying in the same house.

   Suddenly the girl got a text from the boy wishing her all the best for the next day. She saved his number and he was updated with the results. At the final round she was not selected. She felt very sad but the happiest part was no one from department got selected in the final round in the next day. 

   Then they got the bus and returned back to the college. Within a day they went to home for the weekend. The girl and the boy started texting each other. They became very close friends. They started talking with each other in phone once they got comfortable. 

   They shared their future plans ,family background, friends and the conversation went on daily. One fine day when they were in their native places for study holidays, the boy told the girl that he will take care of his future wife to the extreme. Then suddenly the girl asked him "Why can't I be that person?" The first asked casually. But the boy suddenly told her why you were talking like this, be serious, don't make fun. Then she got angry and she asked him why can't I deserve? The boy told her to change the topic. 

  She was very angry for that reply. Then they started arguing at one point the boy told her I can't imagine you as my wife sitting next to me in my bed. Then the girl suddenly laughed and told him this was the reason you are not accepting me as your future wife. But after the phone call the girl was not okay and she was unable to tolerate the word that she can't be his future wife. Even though it was a joke it really hurts her.

   There the spark came and the Cupid had striked the arrow of love in her heart at that moment. She started cherishing the moments that they had on the phone. Then she planned not to talk with him for the whole day telling him that you can talk with me with the gift we have shared each other for their birthdays. The love started blossoming in her heart. The boy who was scared of so many things for the future didn't say yes till their last day in college. 

   Then after their college days they started missing each other very badly. The girl who was hurt didn't forget their fights too. Finally the boy admitted her that he can't live without her. But he asked her time to get settled. They did their higher studies that was also in a same college unexpectedly it happened for both of them to join in a same college even they had different plans for their higher studies. Again the love, the bonding, the closeness, the relationship was to the core. They loved each other madly. They finished their higher studies and they moved for job in different places. They both convinced their family and they lived happily ever after. With so many dreams in their heart and with the blessings of their parents they are travelling their life together in all their ups and downs. Love is not blind. Love won't see the perfections and for sure it will see your imperfections. A satisfied life is better than a successful life. Its easy to love someone but its difficult to live with the same love when you are together for a while. Sometimes you will feel to quit the relationship. But at the end you can't even think of your life without your love. Love is everywhere around us. The love that gets stuck in our heart will push you to fight for the one who is being loved. This story is dedicated to my love with whom I have travelled a decade of my life without getting bored. Love you my dear, my valentine, my everything...
