Monster

I kept still in the water next to my raft, hoping the creature wouldn't notice me. No such luck. It grabbed me with one of its tentacles and slowly pulled its tentacle back. I realized what was happening too late. It heaved me through the air making me sail over miles of water without touching any of it. I swiveled around in the air to see the creature slowly going back into the deep ocean. I wondered why he hadn't eaten me. Maybe he was vegetarian. 

These thoughts went through my head as I plummeted toward the deep blue sea.
