Missing Time

Rajdeep was a twelve year old boy who was very sharp and intelligent.He was a logical Thinker.

Whenever a teacher explains him anything he asks a bundle of questions to the teacher as well as his grand parents and parents.

One day in a social class, the class teacher was explaining about Ancient people , how they used to lit fire by rubbing stones and use to cover themselves with leaves , he was surprised to hear that , as he was very imaginative and had good visual mind ,,he imagined a scene of people doing that. Teacher also showed some pictures and videos of ancient people and their struggle. The whole class was very interested to know more about them.

After some days the lesson of Robotics came , That we are so developed now maximum of our work is done by Robots and machines. In coming future the technology will be so advanced that robots will cook for us , they will iron our clothes they will open the door and so on.

As usual he had many questions in his mind but he did not ask anything to the teacher.

She asked , " Any doubts children", and looked at Rajdeep.

All said No , the lecture is clear for them.

He went home , was quite the rest of the day.

Grand mother Asked him the reason behind his silence.

He replied , " Grand Ma , I am Confused with the lesson taught by the teacher today, she was telling we are developed and we are doing everything in less time and in hours time what we used to do is done in minutes or seconds.In Olden days they used to wait for many days for one message or letter or phone call, but now its so quick that in seconds we can reach them, we can video call and see them."

She said , "that's true"

Rajdeep said ,"My confusion is , if we are so fast and developed and doing things quick then where is the time gone,? All are busy these days in something or the other, we should have full time to spend , if we are using robots these days. I am unable to analyse that Ancient people used to spend hours in only litting fire and cooking, they had no cookers, stoves , cutting accessories but had time. How come Grand Maaa?"

He showed in his Tablet that he made a picture of ancient people and Robot talking to each other about their experiences.

Grand Ma was silent and could not answer the question!
