Michael On A Cycle
Michael On A Cycle
It was a bright sunny Sunday. Perfect for a cycle trip. Michael grabbed his bag and stuffed a whole lot of cheerios and three sandwiches. He borrowed or you can say secretly stole his dad's binoculars and pocketed his iPhone. After taking permission from his Mom and grabbing two water bottles he was set for a fun cycle ride. He hopped on his cycle and rode out the front gate. He started downhill after a drink of water for a refreshing start. After a while, he realized that a dog was following him....No, two dogs. Actually three...four dogs!. Michael started pedaling faster. The dogs started running. He turned right and one of the dogs twisted his leg turning in speed. He said under his breath "One down, three to go". He saw a small ditch ahead and right when it was few meters away he turned left. One of the dogs fell in the ditch. He again said under his breath "Two down, Two to go". He saw a man offering rides on a horse and got a brilliant idea. He zipped past right close to the horse and one of the dogs bumped into the horse's feet. The horse got scared and went wild eventually scaring the two dogs away. He surely had jumped out of the frying pan into the fire as the wild horse had broken the lease and was now galloping beside Michael. Michael got scared and his hands became wobbly. He turned left instead of right and was now cycling but leaning on the horse's back. The horse slowly went apart from the cycle and Michael had to hold on to the saddle to save his butt. Michael's cycle continued moving as the cycle had already picked up speed. Michael climbed up the horse and as he has watched a lot of Indiana Jones he managed to move the horse towards the cycle. He slowly put his foot on the cycle peddle and was soon back on his good old cycle. A person who was driving a nearby car had filmed the whole thing and was uploading it on Youtube. Michael stopped a few hundred meters ahead and drank half his bottle of water, he was really exhausted. He then ate some cheerios and continued his trip. He soon found out that there was a hill nearby that he could climb on his cycle. He set the GPS map and started the way. It was full of rights and lefts and rights and lefts, eventually, Michael realized that google was tricking him and he was going in circles. He decided to find his way there by asking locals. He first saw a small sweet shop and asked the owner where the hill was. The owner of the shop said, "Go straight then take a left and you will know the way by seeing some signs.". He was still confused and asked a toy seller nearby, he replied "Go straight then take right then go straight and take left. Your destination is on the right.". What! Both routes are different! He decided to go in the toy sellers route as the guy looked honest and cool. After a hard upslope climb, he reached his destination. He could see a small hill on the right and headed towards it. He had quite a load so he ate up all the cheerios and dumped the packets and extra plastic bottles. He started riding uphill. Halfway up the hard ride started. He rode throw the big slippery stones then suddenly the tire slipped. Unfortunately, Michael's cycle brakes failed and the cycle started descending.....Backward! Halfway down he managed to stop the cycle with his worn-off Quechuas. He again rode to the top and halfway through the hard climb. He decided that he had completed the climb capable of a lousy Keysto. He parked his cycle on a slippery path unknowingly and sat on a rock with his sandwiches. He started eating sandwiches and suddenly, CREAK! SLIP! Oh No! shouted Michael he started running after his cycle that was sliding down the hill. No! It was approaching an edge!
TRIP! CRASH! Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
His cycle tripped over the edge and fell down to pieces. Luckily no one was down there but still, the cycle is gone. No! No! No! shouted Michael. He ran down and saw the bits and pieces of his cycle. The damaged handles, the tire tubes, and the screws and bolts. He grabbed the tires, the only usable part, and returned home. At home, there was another surprise waiting for Michael. His mom had seen the Youtube video and was very angry as she had instructed him not to get in trouble. Michael had really done it today. Michael on a cycle has lost his "cycle"! Ha Ha!
