Mani is a daily wage worker at his maternal uncle's shop and passed Intermediate. However, the maternal uncle got furious that his son failed in SSC, and he does not want Mani to have good studies anymore. So, he used to give more work from here on and Mani did not have enough time and money for further studies. After a year Mani was fed up with work and quit. Mani stopped taking calls from his uncle. Uncle came home and asked elder sister "Why is Mani not coming to work anymore?" to which mother said "you are aware of all our situations. His father died at an early age due to drunkard and this family has no respect and value anymore in the village. Nobody cares about us apart from the daily wage he gets just to feed this home for the past 10 years." To which Uncle responds sister, "I understand your situation and hence I gave him work and made sure he studied well and passed the exams. Same way, he can continue further and complete his degree and get a better job." His mother responded, "you have been treating him unwell for the past 1 year due to your son failing his exams. I can see him having a lot of body pains coming late in the night, when will he get time to heal and study? Due to Mani, you are in a profitable situation in your business, now you need to give him a break and treat him well so he can get time for himself too." Uncle got so furious and left by throwing the tea glass down by saying, "he doesn't need to come anymore. Better find another job. I will find someone else for my work."

After Mani returned mother said about the fight that happened with his brother for which Mani smiled and said, "you did well. I will go to the city and work as a delivery boy for a few days and take you back." Mani bought a bike from a mechanic, and he left for the city with some clothes in a bag. He went to a friend's room and got a delivery guy job. He worked for a year and was promoted to Senior delivery guy, by then he has a grasp of the whole city and every area. He used to meet a lot of people every day, see a lot of homes and used to get inspired by them. He wanted to own one. He wanted to study for graduation as well, however, due to the current situation he cannot own a home or study, so he decided to find another way to get rid of his poor situation. He got a Credit Card, which gives the best returns after spending, and made sure he spent money wisely. He got a few policies while using the Credit Card.

1. Never lent CC or take a loan on a Card

2. Pay prompt to get the best benefits of the Credit Card.

After using CC for a few months, he got a pre-approved loan of some amount with easily repayable for the next 5 years. But the money was so little that he could not use it for any purpose in the city. However, he can own a piece of land in the village. He took the loan and bought 3 cents of land which has a small hut in it. The hut was in an almost ruined condition, he got it repaired and shifted mother to it. Mother was happy. However, the people in the village got jealous of the family because they were not supposed to own a home with the current situation in the village. The village people had lost a lot of money to a Chit Fund Company and fled with a large amount of money. The Village guys do not have any proper evidence that they paid money to the Chit Fund and hence they could not do anything about it, so they were suffering silently.

Mani got a chance to become a supervisor in a delivery company. However, due to internal politics the chance was grabbed by the Company Manager's nephew. Mani felt it was unfair, however, he continued to work. The nephew gave Mani hard days as a delivery guy. Unable to sustain it, Mani had to quit the Company. Due to his experience, he at once got a job in a big delivery company with better pay. For the next 2 years, he managed to complete his loan. He also married a girl working in the same company as an Accountant (Dharani).

Dharani has a lavish lifestyle lady however she does listen to Mani in terms of money. Mani controlled the money very well. Since she is also working, he did not want to use her money and did not want to get blamed for using her money, he wanted to buy a property in her name. With the kind of money they have, they still cannot afford a home in the city. However, they can afford to be out of the city. According to Mani's policies, he would never buy a flat anywhere. He would only buy land and a home on top of it. With this policy it is unaffordable to buy one home in the city, however, it is possible to buy one out of the city. So, he started roaming out of cities, talked to a lot of people and if needed shed a small amount of money to brokers. He got information that a very soon about to develop an area is available for a less cost. He grabbed the opportunity and bought a place. Dharani was not in favor of it however he did not listen to her and took the loan again and bought the property. Dharani wanted to buy some jewelry which Mani opposed and Dharani was disappointed. She likes to go to parties, often in their family circle, they were invited to parties. Everyone used to come with a lot of jewelry. Mani did not want to go to their parties since they are all show-offs. She insisted on going to a party, left with no other choice Mani had to take her. As soon as they reached it, Dharani looked at her relatives. All of them were wearing gold jewelry and she was disappointed with herself. Her grandfather came to her and greeted her wishes. He also asked about the new life and asked her to introduce her husband. Dharani felt his grandfather was money minded and would not like his husband. However, she reluctantly introduced her Husband. Grandfather was a little disappointed, he looked at Mani and had a chat with him.

He came directly to the point with Mani "What do you own as an asset for your family?" Mani vaguely said, "he owns a hut in the village and a piece of land on the outskirts of the city" for which grandfather got more interested and wanted to listen more about it. Mani kept on saying that his father died at an early age and had a tough time growing up. After listening to the Mani story, he was proud of her granddaughter for having such a husband. He showed the other grandson and said "he makes monthly a lac and god knows where he spends all the money. He has a very lavish lifestyle going to pubs, drinking, and whatnot. But you on the other hand have a very conservative lifestyle which I like the most and simplicity to appear." After listening to their grandfather Dharani got immensely proud of her husband, of all the jewels amongst the people she felt wearing her husband was the most precious jewel.

Eventually, they were blessed with two children, Mani used to spend more time with kids rather than in the office. However, Dharani used to go to the office. Mani used to take leaves and spend time at home. However, he still managed to make money. He also invested in Mutual Funds, Shares, and Crypto. They were not profiting, however he never stopped investing in them. Amongst his policies, one is to invest 5% of the money in such investments.

After a few years, Mani paid off all the debt and now he wanted to build a home on the plot he owned. He talked with some construction companies and chose a minimum plan. Dharani did not like it, anyway, Mani would not listen and go ahead with the plan. Although very few people live in the community, he still constructed the home. He made friends nearby the community, and he spent time with them, drinking and all. Dharani thought he was changing due to aging and going for a lavish lifestyle, but Mani here always knows what he is doing. He became friendly to all of them, got their numbers, and told them to keep an eye on his home. He eventually moved to a new home. Dharani was unhappy with the isolated place, however people started visiting his home often and homes started appearing more in the coming years. Mani and Dharani had to take a long journey for the next few years to work. Mani's mother used to take care of the children while the parents were away.

-- Life goes well with such wise decisions, not dependent on anyone else. Have self-respect, not fall for useless lust of irrelevant things. A person who makes lakhs monthly owns a home and a little better life. This story proves you need not make a lot of money to have a home or a decent life. With correct planning, you can get whatever you need.
