Locked Down With A Makeup Kit
Locked Down With A Makeup Kit
Uncle looks hideous! He found my makeup kit and decided to use it. Oh, my poor, poor makeup kit. I wonder if I can still use it. I don't think so. Now, time to hear the story, then give my makeup kit a funeral.
It was yet another hot day. One week into this lockdown, and I'm losing it. To top things off, it has been extended. Now we will be having Christmas with Uncle Percy! We have more news. We are moving in with Uncle Percy! I wonder why. Aunt said she will tell us the reason. So let me start the story. Again.
It was a hot day, one week into this lockdown. I left my makeup kit on my vanity table and went to Tamara's room to make her give me my flat iron back. All three of us were getting ready for no given reason. We were so bored, we decided to have a competition on who could dress the best. In the meantime, the uncle came to drop off my laundry. He was in a mood to experiment ever since the art convention. Sorry, overaction. It would take a miracle for aunt to get over that one.
He took the makeup kit and opened it. Then he pulled out all the other palettes. He started off with blush. The only thing that happened was that he used eye shadow instead. Then uncle proceeded to eyes. He took the eyeshadow sponge and began dabbing it on his eyes. He made a huge mess. Out came the eyeliner, and I entered the room. Uncle turned to face me. I screamed. And screamed some more. Then ran out of the room. Aunt Maureen saw me. She asked, "What happened?" I said, "See for yourself!"
She went into the room, to see uncle applying eyeliner. She took the makeup kit from him and gave it back to me. Pepper had, unfortunately, chosen that minute to walk into the room. She saw her uncle and had a brainwave. "Hey, how about we give uncle a makeover?" Tamara heard it and came into the room. "Yeah, we can include the kids too," she suggested. "I'll do Mille, Pepper can take Rebecca, Aunt gets Tyson and Rachel can take uncle." I was on board until I found out I was donating a makeup kit to this. Oh well, a deal's a deal.
The second Tyson saw the makeup, he psyched out. He just hates it when we try to put it on him. Millie and Rebecca were super happy. They lunged straight for the kits. They were so happy we let them be. So now the three of us had uncle. Tamara began ruffling through aunt's dresses. I took makeup remover and began to get uncle's experiment off of his face. Pepper found some hair dye and began to get it ready for the uncle's hair. Uncle was sleeping through all of this.
I began. I took primer and powder and began to apply it on my uncle's face. Pepper's dye was ready. She started coating his hair with color. I think it was green. Tamara had found a dress and showed it to us, so we could do hair and makeup accordingly. It was a lime green gown. I fished out some green eyeshadow and applied it to my uncle. He chose that minute to wake up. His eyes popped open, and I dropped the palette. So there went my eyeshadow. I pulled out another shade of green and applied it to him with no disaster. But knowing us, when are we ever gonna be disaster-free? I opened the blush compact and found it mixed up with mascara. I threw it away. I was so done with the condition my makeup was in, that I just applied some lipstick to uncle, and my work was done.
Millie and Rebecca crawled into the room, with lipstick on their eyes, mascara on their cheeks, and mess galore on their dresses. In the meantime, uncle slipped into the dress, put on the shoes arranged for him, and tumbled down the stairs. The towel on his head fell off, revealing peppermint red hair. It was hilarious, yet utterly disturbing. I mean, he looked like a rosebush, thorns included. I was at a loss for words.
Now, uncle's trying to get the makeup off, and the dye out of his hair. But I'm not worried. It'll keep him busy for a week. I think.
