We’re finally fully vaccinated! Last month we went to get the first dose of the vaccine and, of course, uncle made a huge scene and kind of embarrassed us. The second time went a bit smoother, though I can’t really say anything major happened. But one way or the other, we can finally go around totally mask-free. We’ve even started going to school and it’s been a total blast. Me and Max are even in the same class. Uncle has even started going to the office now. Aunt couldn’t be happier. She’s finally got some peace and quiet.

The second dose was honestly scarier than the first, because, after what uncle did the first time, where he thought he was going to die, I think that maybe we would be banned from entering the hospital for life. I hope not. We really need a vacation. The closest thing to vacation we got was last Christmas when I accidentally found a time machine and took us back to the biblical period. Speaking of the time machine, it's been making some weird noises in the attic. I think it’s getting ready for this Christmas. All I know is I’m definitely not going close to the attic anytime soon. Okay back to our story.

Once again, the house was in total chaos because we overslept. As usual. Whoever invented alarm clocks must hate himself at this moment. We’re a total disgrace to the clocks. Unlike last time, Tamara was not allowed to enter the kitchen, because we were most definitely not eating pot roast that tasted too much like the pot (because Tamara being, well, Tamara overcooked it). Uncle was actually awake for a change and was in the bathroom taking a shower. I think. He’s been in the shower for a whole hour. I wonder if he fell asleep in the tub. I wouldn’t be surprised if he did. Tyson was apparently watching the cat watch her personal television (a.k.a. the fish tank) and doing his best to refrain from picking her up and putting her in there for a swim. Millie and Rebecca were running around the house pretending to be ostriches. I don’t know why they’re so fascinated with that one bird. It’s just weird. I mean, why would someone just stick their head into the ground when they wanna sleep? Doesn’t closing your eyes exist?

Once we managed to get uncle to stop taking a nap in the bathtub and Tyson to stop holding the cat into the fish tank, we got into the car and headed out. An hour into the drive the car stopped. We were out of petrol. Why does this always happen to us? We walked five miles to the nearest gas station to get petrol, and then started again.

Once we finally reached the hospital, we went up to the waiting room again. On no. The staff was the exact same as last time. God, I hope our doctor was different. Because if it was the same one, then there was no way we would be leaving this place vaccinated.

It turns out the doctor was the same. She didn’t recognize us thankfully. She couldn’t understand why we were so scared. She probably thought we had a bad incident with the first vaccine. If only she know what it was.

Getting the shot went by easily. I just wish I could have said the same for the waiting period. They had removed the crawlspace they had last time, so we couldn’t put the triplets there. But they’re far too restless to stay sitting in one spot. So we had to let them run around the floor. It was all going smoothly. Until they discovered the stairs. They began going up and down until a nurse came over and told us to ask the kids to sit down. Once they sat down, the same nurse came up to us and said that we were allowed to leave now. we spent 15 minutes chasing the triplets around, and the exact second we convince them to sit down, we need to leave. Wow, that’s like the height of logic. Well, at least we’re vaccinated now. I wonder where we’ll go on vacation. Let's go somewhere spooky. It's almost time for Halloween anyway. I can’t wait to go trick or treating!
