Lara "The Toy"

Tomorrow is Stephanie birthday she is thrilled and is impatient. New dresses, cakes, decorations and most importantly birthday gifts all these were roaming around in her mind and she was all only thinking about them. Stephanie was lost in her thoughts when suddenly there was a knock at the door, it was Stephanie's mother. That's when she realized that she was in the bathroom all that time. Her mother asked "What's taking you so long Stephanie?". "Nothing mum just coming", Stephanie replied. The next day Stephanie woke up and rushed to her parent's room and started jumping on their bed. They woke up. "Stephanie it's just 5 in the morning, why are you up so early?" her dad asked. "Dad it's my birthday today", Stephanie replied. "But still it's too early" her parents said. "OK, but can I watch television instead?". "OK" said her parents as they just wanted to rest {sleep}.

After a while the party started and Stephanie friend's started to roll in. After the party, Stephanie unwrapped all the gifts and was overjoyed with what all everyone had got for her, but her favourite was a teddy bear given to her by her parents. She named it Lara. "It's time to go to sleep sweetie", said her mother. "Yah mum" replied Stephanie. She went to bed while cuddling Lara. While getting into the blanket she heard a voice saw "May I also have one blanket? You see it's so cold outside". Stephanie was shocked to hear that voice and started looking around to see from where it came. "I am here". Now Stephanie realized that the voice came from Lara and was terrified. "Don't be afraid, I am just a little teddy bear" Lara said. "But you can talk and no other teddy bear can" Stephanie replied. "Yes I am different, I have come from the 'Toy World' and their each toy can talk, Lara said.

"Well then, tell me more about it" said Stephanie but this time she was less scared and was eager to know more. "Well it was very beautiful before but not now. The rat king has ruled over it and wants to destroy it", said Lara. "So can I help you, to free it", said Stephanie. "Sure you can help me, come let me show you the magical door to 'Toy World'. As they entered the Toy World Stephanie was shocked to see how much destruction the rat king had done. When Stephanie held Lara's hand something amazing happened she changed into a real girl. Stephanie was astonished and asked Lara how it happened. Lara said "The rat king's mother cursed me and changed me into a teddy bear. I am the princess of 'Toy World'". Stephanie was stunned to hear this and wanted to help Lara free Toy World from the rat king's rule. That's when the emperor spotted Lara and was on cloud nine as he thought that Lara was no more. He wanted to go and tell everyone the good news but that's when Lara understood what the emperor wanted to do and called the emperor to her. "Don't tell everyone that I am alive let it be a secret between you and me" she said. "But why your highness and who is that girl?"

The emperor asked. "Oh that's Stephanie the one who broke my curse and I want you to keep it a secret as I want to stop the rat king from ruling the Toy World and if the news spread it will not be possible for me to do so" Lara replied. Lara asked the emperor to tell where the rat king was and went there with Stephanie. Stephanie thought that she was in a movie scene. They both put on a disguise and went searching into the rat king's factory. On seeing so many toys Stephanie rushed to get one. "Stop" said Lara. That's when one of the guards saw Stephanie and as he had never seen her before he thought she was the princess and so caught her.

He locked him in the chambers and informed the rat king. Lara rushed to rescue Stephanie, when the citizens of toy world recognized her and started to help. Seeing all this the rat king himself took charge and began to chase Lara. But all the people fought bravely and blocked the king from coming. Lara then rescued Stephanie. That's when the rat kings mother took the helicopter and grabbed his son. Lara and Stephanie too grabbed the helicopter. They then, with all their might took the engine out and when the helicopter was about to land they jumped out. The rat king and his mother died and so there workers ran out as well. 

Finally Toy World was safe and normal again. Lara thanked Stephanie. Stephanie said "I don't want to lose you please come with me". " I can't I need to stay here I belong here, but I promise we will surely meet again", Lara replied. They said goodbye to each other in tears.

The next day there was a knock at Stephanie's door. Her dad opened it and said, "A friend of yours has come to visit you". Stephanie thought the face was familiar but could not recognize her. Then the girl said "HI I AM LARA"
