I Am Odd

Ten deserving candidates who had high rankings and obtained degrees from reputed world-class universities attended an interview. Each of them was asked the same question. None but one was selected. 

The question asked by the interviewer was, " How do you react to these words of mine?: Hey you hell with your degree. I give a shit to your ranking. When I look at you I see a least valued odd person who deserves nothing."

The 10th candidate replied with a smile, "Certainly you noticed the right thing, sir. Yes, I am least valued and odd i.e. I am No. 01. Thus I deserve nothing but the best. Thank You."
