It was the 18th marriage anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson. Their daughter Jessica wanted to know how she met her Pa.
Jessica: Mom, yours was a love marriage right? Mom, please tell me how you met my Pa? Please Ma. Please say, na...
Rewinding the memories, Mrs. Wilson started sharing her nostalgia to her daughter.
Monica: Ok fine. Let me tell you. It was exactly 20 years ago when I was twenty, I had a fight with my father, your grandpa. Whenever I was angry I used to go to 'Glasses and Gala' and order my favorite Litchi smoothie and chill listening to the live music. As usual, I ordered my drink, got my token, and went to wash my face. On my return, I saw my favorite drink waiting for me at my table. Table.No.9. I jumped on the table and started enjoying it. Within a few seconds, it was half done. Suddenly from nowhere a young, tall, dark, and handsome guy stood next to me and in a gentle tone told me, "Excuse me, young lady, I think you are sipping my cup of drink." I got annoyed and gave him nicely the verbal lashes. Hearing my voice the hotel manager came and enquired "What's th
e matter?" I bombarded at him too. Smilingly he replied "Ma'am this is table.No.9." Yes of course it is. I am not blind. See I have the token." I replied angrily. "But Ma'am your token number is 6, gentleman's token is 9," said the manager showing the handsome guy's token. I felt so ashamed. I turned around and saw my drink was there at table no.6 and all the people were watching and laughing at me. The guy got the nerve of the situation and with a clap and smile replied, "Alright it happens. Its OK guys, thank you, manager, it's sorted. " Everything was set to normal. To make me chill the guy sipping the drink continued, "You know what, once by mistake, I landed into ladies' toilet. It happens, just chill." "By the way, the smoothie is too good. Hi, I am Jesse Wilson, Would you mind if I share half of your smoothie?" I smiled and took him to my table and shared my drink. And to date, we are here sharing and caring happily for each other from the past 20 years. That was our 1st meeting and then we dated for 2 years and finally got married on this auspicious day.
"Ha! This is how I MET YOUR PAPA sweetheart," said Mrs. Monica Wilson to her 16-year-old daughter Jessica.
Jessica was awestruck. She hugged her mother tightly and said, "thank you for being my mom. Thank you for gifting me my Pa. Happy Anniversary mom."
