The sight that greeted me as I stepped into the bathroom was enough to make my blood boil.

I had just cleaned the tiles sparkling bright and scrubbed the floors squeaky clean. And now, there was this black-eyed monster staring at me from the drain.

Hopping with fury I yelled at the love of my life, “Look at this. I just cleaned it. That’s your contribution staring at me. Humph!!”. Hubby darling who was helping our munchkin with her homework sashayed into the bathroom with a pencil in hand.

With the poise and elegance of a magician, he hoisted up the hairy monster with the pencil and grinned at me like a Cheshire cat. “Mmm… isn’t it a bit too long to come from your scalp…” I smirked.

Our eyes met.

His twinkling eyes gave me a checkmate. “I knew it was my hair... I just wanted you to help me with the cleaning. Hehe,” said I as I scurried away.
