Helpful Disappearance

Everyone must be aware of such oxymorons, isn't it? Like for example, "Less is more", "the same difference", "act naturally", "clearly confused" and the best one "happily married". 

Anyway, such oxymorons are a part of our lives and they tend to create a moment of surprise for all of us. A similar incident happened with me which took us on the ride of believing the unbelievable coz the "disappearance remained forever".

One evening, I and my family were returning from a trip to a beautiful river with wonderful memories. All the chatters and music made our tiredness runaway. Also, our hurriedness of reaching home kept creeping in between as I had to catch a train that same night. However, something terrible happened and our car broke down at the signal. This signal being the busiest one obviously led to chaos. My father found himself helpless with 3 ladies on board and no one yes "no one from the busiest area to help" - oxymoron!

Anyway, we managed to get the car to the brink of the road by pushing it and wondering as to how to get out of this situation at the earliest. Being Sunday made it worse- No open garage! 

My father opened the car bonnet to see if he could apply his tech- brains and all of a sudden a man appeared for help. It was sudden since, he seemed to take the wrong side of the road. Then he asked my father to handle the steering and the car started in a jiffy. He showed thumbs up from over the side and my father wondered why wouldn't he close the bonnet and asked my mother to inform the "known stranger" to do so. But to my mother's shock the guy had DISAPPEARED! 

The man disappeared like smoke! Like source unknown but presence felt. It was unbelievable to see no trace of him. We looked as far as our eyes could search but in vain! It was like the busy road engulfed him the way it produced him for our help!

I don't know if I should call this an oxymoron however his "disappearance was helpful to make us realize that certain things come by surprise and truly become unforgettable"!
