Great Donor.

                 There was a young employee who was very careful in his financial business. He was very soft in speaking with his office colleagues as well as other community people. He wasn’t only handsome but also very greedy. He would never spend a money to offer a cup of tea to his colleagues on any special occasion or any achievement in his life. But he was very smart in keeping good relation with everybody with his soft, sweet words without hurting emotions of others. He set up himself a unique sample among the normal employees in the office.

                People thought that he was miser as he had two daughters. His family would stay with her parent for most of time after marriage due to his miser, greedy nature. He was a class three cadre employee having hand some salary. He could manage his family very well in that salary. But he was fond of money . He would deposit his whole intake salary in the bank. He had spent some money in his business of gambling numbers. He had so many office as well as others like minded friends as he was a very famous expert of gambling numbers. He would earn good amount of money in this anti-social business. His wife would go back to her parent as soon as she came to her home due to his ill habit like miser and irrelevant activities. Neither his wife nor his kids would like to stay with him because of his odd behavior as master of the home. He would try to manage his family expenditure from the income from his liked business. On many occasion ,he would be trapped in financial crises. When he couldn’t repay the borrowings, the concerned people would come and take valuable items with them from his house. It was a really silly act for man having his self respect. but he was habituated with this business.

                 There was a common practice in his office of collecting the contributions for various official as well as employee’s function. when this amount get collected, the same amount as gift in a pocket would be handed over to family with the hands of head of office in the function. Whenever a collector would ask him for such contribution. he would say with great sorry that he had forgotten to bring his pocket on that day. He would say to him that he would contact him and handed over his share personally. The collector would know that he would never come to him for said reason. Every body get habituated with his tactful trick. He was famous charter as well as trickster. Whenever the collector would like to make fun with him, he would change his path soon as if he hadn’t seen to him by showing himself very busy in his office work. 

                 But he had very special feature that he would reach in the function in time as time and tide wait for no man. He would mix with that family in the function as if he was one of them. As soon as the feast get started, he would be the beginner. Many times , he would be the opener of feast in the function. Some of his colleagues would like to make fun of this habit. He would answer them logically. Since the inviter had invited us for giving blessing and to enjoy the feast, why should we hesitate and unnecessarily delay the function. There would be all fresh items in the beginning. We could easily enjoy them comfortably. There was no fear of shortage of items with sufficient flavor. We could save our beautiful dresses getting dirty during poor crowd. There would be many such merits in enjoying the feast in the beginning.

                  Fortunately, there was a marriage of his daughter. Since he was greedy of money, he invited all the colleagues by giving them invitation cards personally . He was expecting good amount from his colleagues as gift for marriage of his daughter as usual. He also reminded all the colleagues once more before proceeding on leave. But there was a huge frustration among the some of the colleagues about the contribution. They would like to teach him lesson. They had decided to give empty pocket to his daughter as gift individually with thanks message for invitation. All of them attended the marriage and enjoy feast like him. While going back, they all handed over the sealed packets without gift to the bride. of course, it was really a shameful behavior by his colleagues, but it was necessary to teach him tit for tat lesson. But there was no change in his mindset. He didn’t invited any colleague in the marriage of his second daughter.

                      There was another established tradition in the office for a retiring employee. He would give feast to all his colleagues on the day of his retirement. There would be a farewell party from the staff in honor of him in which his colleagues expressed their emotions about him through their talk. He would be presented with some memorable gift. When he was retired from his job, Office staff arranged farewell function in honor of him. He wouldn’t give any lunch or dinner for his colleagues which wasn’t expected from him as usual.

                    One of the colleagues started speaking in honor of him on the retirement day function. He shared so many memorable incident with him. He also told about him how he made himself sell-sufficient in financial matter well before his retirement. It was a modal sample for other employee to be followed. He was millionaire just like his surname. He was financially very strong without any major responsibilities. He had finished all most all his responsibility to enjoy post retirement happy life.

                   Another colleague started his honor speech about him. he said that he hadn’t seen a great donor like him yet in his life. All the employees stand erect on their seat by his words. He started explaining about the common donor as seen in the present society. He was of the opinion that these donors weren’t real donor. As they would pump their money for getting respect, flattering , honor to them. They spend their money on others for various family functions for self satisfaction. They would like to show others how rich they are !. these so called donors are self centered for their own interest so that other shouldn’t humiliate them. The great donor from the history like king Harishchandra,  great worrier Karn, a ruler of Hyderabad dynasty who made his treasury empty on call of prime- minister of India during war to save the country . They wanted to be heroes of the history, hence they looted their wealth. But real great donors are those who didn’t spent money for their body and emotions. They were always victims of hate of others due to their miser nature. They made such huge wealth struggling every moment and suppressing their emotions. Before leaving these world they left a huge wealth for their offspring for several generation. These generations would enjoy their life because of great donor like our today’s guest. We should honor him as we would see such great donor by our own eyes . It was real fortune for us.
