Falak

Parth was Ceo of a big company. He belonged to an influential family. He had a habit of intolerance towards poor people. He was rich but wasn’t kind enough to help the needy.

One fine morning, while he was having his breakfast in a hotel, a poor boy stood near the window looking at him expecting some food. Parth was so irritated by seeing that boy that he ordered the security guards to throw the boy away. The poor boy was mistreated and went away sobbing.

One day his car stopped working and he annoyingly decided to take a walk around the city. He didn’t notice that it was the same boy outside the hotel who was following him. Ignoring him, he continued walking.

The poor boy stole the wallet and ran away. Parth started screaming at the top of his voice. He shouted, “ Catch that bastard”. Nobody cared for him.

Parth ran behind that boy to the slum. He called the police too. He caught that boy in front of a shady place. Meanwhile, the police also reached there.

Parth held the poor boy and slapped him twice. The boy was crying and called his mother.

Parth shouted at the boy loudly “ Yes, you little bastard! Call your mum. I want to see what kind of upbringing she gave you.”

“ Hey, mind your words mister !”, said Falak, stepping out from the house.

Parth and Falak. The two were considered to be the best couple during the college days. They loved each other madly, but she loved him more. Tears rolled down from Falak’s eyes as she saw him.

Parth was shocked to see her after many years. He stared at her beautiful eyes for 2 minutes straight. She was still the same when he left her. Falak obtaining her confidence said, “ I think by now you know whose son is this ? “

Parth stood there silently as he could not believe what was happening. He screamed “ No! This is all a lie. This little bastard is not my son. Stop lying, you beggar. You’re attracted to my wealth as you were earlier.”

“ I am shocked to see that you haven’t changed a bit too. I left my career, dreams, family all for you. And you left me when I was pregnant. You were and are Liar.”

He was embarrassed in front of the police. The fact that the little boy was his own son was a bitter pill to swallow. He suddenly started to act weird and shouted, “ Nooooooooooo !!!!!!!!!!.” Sudden guilt, shame, anger, and frustration could be seen on his face. In a shaken-up mood, he grabbed the gun from the police and shot the boy. Falak’s face was covered with blood. To save her son she came forward and took the bullet. Parth very shocked and upset fell down beside her and said, “ I never wanted to kill you, dear !”. Falak replied “ You had already killed me when you left me, Parth.” She slowly moved towards her son and said, “ Mother loves you and will always be with you beta.” And she closed her eyes forever.
