Eternal Journey (Part 1)

A journey of two decades as teacher introduced Sharat to a number of students who have emerged as responsible citizens contributing significantly to the progress of our nation. Here is the story of a student in whose life Sharat has played a prominent role which stands out as an example for teaching fraternity.

One day, as soon as he entered the class, he noticed a student who was new and sitting in the last bench. After a quick introduction by the student mentioning that his name is Nitin, he had continued with his class. He returned to his room after the class and realized that it was the same student with dismal performance in the admission test. Within a day or two, Sharat got to know that Nitin is a close relative of the Director of the School. This association led to a lot of speculations among teachers. Initially all the teachers including Sharat dealing with Nitin's section had issues about his behaviour and attitude. However, unlike others, Sharat decided not to arrive at any conclusion without giving enough opportunity for Nitin to adjust to the new environment.
